Social Responsibility

MarinLink, located at Northgate, promotes and executes community connections and collaborative projects in the arts/education, environment, health, spiritual, and business communities with special emphasis on connecting Marin's vast nonprofit resources with the private sector.

There is a program that makes it easier than ever to support MarinLink and help the environment by buying and selling items on the iReuse Community website.
Do you have items in your home or office that you no longer need and would like to sell?  MarinLink has a program to allow you to post items for sale on our iReuse Community site, and donate the proceeds to MarinLink.  When your item sells, you'll receive a tax-deductible receipt for your generous donation.  Or buy something for yourself, your family, friends, or your office at a reasonable price on our new iReuse Community site.  Your purchase can help support MarinLink.

Call MarinLink at (415) 472-0211
Or email marinlink@ireuse.com

Thank you again for your continued support!!

CACS

Casa Allegra Community Services (CACS) is a nonprofit organization that supports individuals with developmental disabilities by providing them with community living, education, and employment opportunities.

In 2005, CACS partnered with Northgate to promote their recycling program to collect and sell unwanted cell phones and printer/toner cartridges.  Northgate helped pioneer and implement this program by initially providing high visibility throughout the Marin County business community with large window displays, newsletters, and flyers that outlined the program.  More than 80 businesses implemented this program due to Northgate's promotional efforts.  The unwanted items continue to be collected from Northgate by CACS and are sent to a company that recycles the items in exchange for payment.  This cooperative effort gives our community an opportunity to help protect the environment while supporting this inspirational local organization.
